Wherever Mark Klaver goes, a crowd follows. The singer-songwriter from upstate New York took the stage on Jan. 12 with his acoustic guitar in hand. Mark has an incredible energy on stage. He commands the presence of his audience with his upbeat melodies and catchy lyrics. It wasn’t long before several members of the crowd were dancing and grooving to Mark’s original songs. 49405505127_d6b2b553cc_o.jpg About a third of the way through Mark’s set, he turned down the volume, and sang his original tune, “Tell Me You Want Me,” a song that he wrote to woo the heart of his love, and long time girlfriend. The song may be for her, but everyone in the crowd knew the song lyric-for-lyric. Mark didn’t turn it down for long. Halfway through his set, Mark exchanged his acoustic guitar for an electric one! He turned up the heat for his track, “Memory” - originally recorded with Miles Away and Aymen - a fan favorite. If the crowd wasn’t dancing yet, they were now. Mark also took the opportunity to premiere some new tracks that he hasn’t released yet, “One Sided” and “Strangers.” 49405551322_6fde8eae22_o.jpg Mark ended his set surrounded by friends, family, and fans. It was a truly special event full of fantastic music. Mark Klaver is definitely an artist to watch. He only wears two expressions when he plays: feeling his lyrics or having the time of his life. Mark is a true artist where he pushes his music to try new things but also knows how to entertain and work the crowd.
